COVID-19
LuXClean is back to business with some additional procedures in place.
In this difficult time the safety of our team and our clients remains our top priority. Following government guidance our company developed an enhanced COVID-19 work procedures and risk assessments to ensure safe and effective provision of our services.
Our procedures have been developed for:
Commercial Customers
The following procedures are to be maintained to minimise the risk of spreading of the COVID-19 virus in Commercial Office Spaces / Shared Areas:
- Customers are requested to inform the cleaning service provider if there may have any suspected symptoms of COVID-19 within their employees before the scheduled visit.
- The cleaning technicians to check their body temperature each time before leaving for work, ensuring it is below 37.8*C.
- On arrival, the cleaning technicians must ensure they wear essential PPE.
- The technicians should maintain the social distancing 2m if working in teams (maximum 2 people per team).
- The technicians should work in different rooms or levels if possible and avoid face-to-face contact for prolonged time.
- During cleaning activities site members are also advised to maintain the safe distance of 2m from our cleaning technicians. Preferably, if they can stay in a separate area/room which is not getting cleaned at the time.
- The cleaning technicians to make sure that they always wear gloves during the visit and that all rubbish is disposed correctly, accordingly to the guidance provided by the customers.
- All shared surfaces to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, all cloths used for cleaning to be washed in temperature 65*C and above after each use.
- The cleaning technicians are to wash their cloths daily.
- It is recommended to maintain that the same person is visiting the customer.
Further mitigating actions include:
- Increasing the frequency of hand washing and surface cleaning
- Keeping the activity time involved as short as possible
- Reducing the number of people each person has contact with by using ‘fixed teams'
- If an activity requires working face-to-face it is essential that this is carried out using short time periods
- Businesses and workplaces should make every reasonable effort to enable working from home as a first option
